Known for its Mediterranean charm, historic heritage, and traditional villages, Batroun and Douma offer a beautiful mix of coastal culture and authentic Lebanese village life. This tour combines history, local traditions, scenic landscapes, and traditional flavors for a genuine Lebanese experience.

This tour will begin in Batroun, one of Lebanon’s most charming historic coastal towns. We will start with a walk through the Batroun Old Souk, where you can explore its narrow streets, admire the traditional stone houses, and discover the authentic atmosphere of the old town. You will also have time to walk through the historic village area and experience the local way of life.

You will then continue to the Batroun Port, enjoying the beautiful Mediterranean setting, followed by a visit to Our Lady of the Sea and the ancient Phoenician Wall, a remarkable reminder of Batroun’s long maritime history.

From Batroun, we will head into the mountains toward Douma, a picturesque village known for its traditional Lebanese architecture, red-tiled roofs, and peaceful surroundings. You will explore the Douma Old Souk and take a leisurely walk through its historic streets.

You will then visit the famous Sister of Noah Olive Tree, an ancient olive tree surrounded by local stories and traditions, offering a glimpse into Lebanon’s rural heritage.

To complete the experience, we will stop at a local village establishment for a traditional Lebanese cheese tasting, giving you the opportunity to discover locally produced cheeses and authentic flavors from the Lebanese countryside.

If time and logistics allow, we can also make an optional stop at a traditional local coffee shop in the village, where you can enjoy Lebanese coffee and experience a more authentic side of everyday village life. We can also take a short walk through the old village streets and traditional neighborhoods before returning to Beirut.
